Preschoolers

In the Preschoolers sector, emphasis is put on activities and games in particular, which help to learn simple rules while mobilizing the attention ability.

The educational team takes care of each individual’s needs but sets up educational actions as well in accordance with the group dynamics. Socialization is highlighted through cooperative activities, symbolic games and moments of creativity together. At this age, the child builds a first circle of friends and begins to understand the challenges of interacting, sharing and collaborating with his/her peers.

Meals are therefore the opportunity to interact with other children and members of the educational team. Autonomy is central and the child is supported as best as possible in order to learn, even during everyday moments.

After the meals, a nap is offered to children. Those who no longer need to sleep indulge in a calm and relaxing activity in order to enjoy a moment of rest before starting the afternoon.

In collaboration with families, we encourage toilet training while respecting the child’s pace. During care moments, the educational team support the children according to their degree of autonomy.
